THE CLIENT:

SAU SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

THE CHALLENGE:

The Southern Adventist School of Business needed help designing a professional magazine they would feel confident sending out to alumni and friends of the department. The department is in the process of getting their own building on campus, and wanted to ramp up their marketing efforts with a piece more more comprehensive than a mailer or newsletter.

THE SOLUTION:

Since this was the first issue of the Marketplace magazine, we needed to establish a β€œlook” that will stand the test of time as the branding of the magazine. Southern has their own brand standards, so we focused on staying within those guidelines while also creating something that had its own look and feel.

THE RESULT:

We had a kick-off meeting with the SAU team, they provided us content and loose creative direction, and then we went to work. We ultimately delivered an inaugural 24-page magazine that brings credibility to the department through professional design and informative content. We established a brand for the magazine that can be implemented for years to come.

Services we Provided:

  • Magazine layout and design

  • Branding

  • Print marketing

behind
THE SCENES

We received a variety of elements that needed to be included in the content of the magazine. To marry them all and make it cohesive, we incorporated stylized vector elements as well as color treatments to the photos.
