THE CHALLENGE:
Our clients at Rhythm Volleyball Academy came to us needing a branding package to create the visual identity for the volleyball club they were opening in Murfreesboro, TN. Being so close to Music City, they wanted to incorporate a musical element into the logo design that also nodded to “Rhythm” in the name of the club. This branding package had some added elements - like jersey and badge designs, that made it a unique and fun project to work on.
THE SOLUTION:
We created a comprehensive branding package that would thrive wherever it was used. Knowing the logo would be applied on interior and exterior signage, jerseys, advertising, social media, merchandise, and more, we created a variety of versions in different shapes. While the primary logo is stacked and the most intricate, we rearranged it and broke it down to create secondary and tertiary options that can be used horizontally. The icon and badge were created to be instantly recognizable and to add a more circular version to the portfolio for use when needed.

THE IMPORTANCE OF ADAPTABILITY
Rhythm Volleyball Academy's logo is more than just a visual mark — it’s a thoughtfully crafted design with layers of meaning.
At first glance, you may not notice the intricate details, but the logo skillfully blends musical elements, iconic volleyball imagery, and subtle nods to the Tennessee state flag into one cohesive sports emblem. The combination of clean, sans-serif typography and bold numbers for the jerseys, along with a custom, bright color palette, creates a dynamic look. We also incorporated a script font for added variety, giving them a more classic sports jersey option.
