What Weโre Loving
Getting a little more personal on this post with what weโre loving lately! Since we run this business together, Iโm going to do my best to include things weโre both currently intoโฆ which shouldnโt be too hard since weโre so similar in a lot of ways. I know they say opposites attract, but that was not the case with us haha! Whatโs the other part of that saying? Similarities keep you together (or something like that)? Regardless, weโre in it for the long haul.
Back to that list. In no particular order or category, weโre sharing some things below that have brought us joy, entertainment, made our lives easier or that we think are just worth sharing.
When you have a baby, you watch a lot of TV. At least we do. Especially when you have a baby in January and are not going anywhere. The only thing that takes the edge off those middle of the night feeds is having a good show to keep you company.
With Elle, we watched Madam Secretary, Virgin River (Lance later grew to hate this one so I lost him) and Sweet Magnolias (never made it past season 1 on this one either).
With Sloane, it was White Collar. I know we are late to this gameโฆ I think the show was on in 2012 maybe? Regardless, we loved it. We have only found a few shows that keep both our attention the whole time and this was one of them.
It basically follows an FBI agent and his criminal informant as they solve cases togetherโฆ which might sound like every other show out there, but how they solve cases is unconventional and so is their relationship. Itโs also not super graphic or overly suspenseful which is a huge bonus in my book.
2. Jean Stoffer Design - The Established Home
Iโve been following this account on instagram for a while, but just discovered her TV show on Discovery+ in the last few months (told youโฆ when you have a baby, you watch TV).
Our style has been transitioning from mid-century modern to more classic colonial/European design over the last few years (big shift, I know), and I think itโs here to stay. We love everything Jean does and itโs just so classy.
3. All Things Cauliflower
I saw this meme recently that said something like โI think weโve started expecting too much from cauliflowerโ, and it gave me a good laugh. Itโs not wrongโฆ cauliflower is a lot of things these days.
That being said, when you are gluten free (like usโฆ most the time), it is a great substitute. The recipes below are staples for us because they are SO DANG GOOD. We eat them at least every other week.

4. Taking Elle on Dates
It seems like it was just the three of us for so long, but also such a short time. Just when it felt like we were finding our groove, we added another precious little love to the mix and made things crazy again ๐.
One-on-one time with Elle is more limited these days, but weโve both been trying to be more intentional about it and itโs been SO MUCH FUN. Girlfriend has discovered how great it is to eat at a restaurant and we are here for it. Sheโs at such a fun age now and itโs pure magic experiencing things with her.
5. Steal the Sloths
Last but not least, weโre excited that a project Lance has been co-working on is coming to life! Itโs a family-friendly card game called Steal the Sloths (pictured at the top of this post). They had the first round printed, sent it out to a test group and are in the process of refining the rules and design based on player feedback. You can check it out here, and Iโm sure weโll be talking about it more as things continue to progress, so stay tuned!
